FAQs

How is RecruitField different from other recruiting services?

Unlike generic recruiting databases or expensive showcase packages, RecruitField provides direct coach outreach and customized showcase/tournament planning. Families save time and stress because your player’s profile is actively promoted to the right coaches, rather than sitting in a database or relying on trial-and-error exposure.

How does the direct coach outreach work?

We personally email and call coaches from your target schools to introduce your player, share videos, and provide updates. This ensures coaches notice your athlete directly, rather than relying on mass emails or impersonal services.

How do you choose the right showcases and camps for me?

Many families waste thousands of dollars each year on big-name showcases that promise exposure but lead to little or no offers. What most parents don’t realize is that coaches are often paid to attend these events—even if their rosters are already full. We cut through the noise by recommending only the events that truly align with your player’s skill level, goals, and budget. Each quarter, you’ll receive a customized plan with 2–4 targeted events, plus preparation and follow-up strategies—saving your family time, money, and stress while maximizing real recruiting opportunities.

What do families need to provide to get started?

You’ll submit player information including academics (GPA, test scores if available), athletic stats, and highlight videos. This allows us to create a focused plan and outreach strategy without unnecessary meetings or guesswork, saving families time and avoiding costly missteps.

How much time is required from the player each month?

Most of the work is handled by us. Players provide updated stats, videos, and attend recommended events. Typically, this takes only 1–2 hours per month, making it manageable while still maximizing recruiting exposure—saving families countless hours compared to handling everything themselves.

What if my player isn’t sure what level of college they can play at?

We start with an honest evaluation to create a realistic target list of schools that match both academics and athletic ability. This prevents families from overspending on showcases or chasing opportunities that aren’t a good fit, reducing stress and frustration along the way.

How long does it take to see results?

Every athlete’s journey is different, but most players begin hearing from coaches within the first few months. Because we manage outreach and event strategies, families save time compared to DIY recruiting efforts, and progress is more predictable.

Is everything done online, or are there in-person meetings?

All services are fully remote for convenience and flexibility. Communication with coaches, event planning, and updates are handled digitally, which saves families travel time, reduces costs, and simplifies the process.

Who will be working with my player?

You’ll work directly with a former college baseball coach who has years of experience recruiting, developing, and placing players at the next level. This one-on-one attention ensures families don’t get lost in a large company or generic service—saving time, avoiding mistakes, and increasing recruiting success.

Do you guarantee a college scholarship?

No recruiting service can guarantee scholarships, and you should be cautious of anyone who claims they can. What we guarantee is that your player will get direct exposure to college coaches through proven outreach and event strategies—giving families the best chance to secure opportunities efficiently, without wasting money or effort on unproductive paths.
